Hi argona1, do you mean the Firefox icon/button on the Windows taskbar?

I'm not very familiar with Windows 10, but does it normally display a "jump list" like Windows 7, with "tasks" and frequently visited pages?

I'm not aware of a reason for that to suddenly disappear. If the problem continues after the next time you shut down and restart Windows, perhaps there is an update glitch or new incompatibility...

I do mean the jump list as you put it, this has happened on multiple systems with windows 10 and the only fix i have found is to truly blow it off the computer and reload it from scratch. I was hoping someone had found a solution to this because it takes about 30 min to manually remove all the parts of Firefox and reload it( if you don't get it all it does the same thing when you reload)
