When I use the back button the history opens and I have to click on the screen to close it before I can do anything.

Started a couple of days ago. Tried uninstalling Firefox and downloading and installing a new copy. Didn't help. Every time I click the back button the whole history list drops down. I have to click someplace to close it. Super annoying. Did not start immediately after adding a new add on or anything.

Chosen solution

Known to be caused by the BetterPrivacy extension. The developer of BetterPrivacy knows about that fault and is working on a fix.
