how to prevent users from disabling add-ins?
I want to install a security add-in to block adult content. I know it is easy to simply disable an add-in from the Tools menu. Is there any way to prevent users from doing this? Sort of like make the tools menu password protected or something similar?

Your best bet is to web search for a good, free child protect program.
Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;
Installed Plug-ins

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac
Then reinstall the latest version.
Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

That only prevents changes to the settings. It doesn't block and sites.
True... for blocking sites I used a combination of google safe search and Fox web security (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fox-web-security/)
The public-fox prevents users from disabling the fox web security. Public-Fox can password protect a number of things in Firefox.
I am pretty satisfied now
