AdblockerPlus no longer works in Firefox 47.0.1 Tried to download it and reinstall, but download would never complete. Any ideas?
I use Windows 7 Home Premium and DSL connection. Last night, auto Mozilla update occurred and wiped out my DSL connection. Created new connection, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and Thunderbird. Now everything works except AdBlockerPlus is MIA. Tried to download it from the apps manager, and download would never complete. I get to the part where there are "a few seconds remaining," but then nothing happens and it never installs. Any ideas?

Thanks for all your help. All of a sudden AdBlock Plus started to work on my computer. Very strange since I never had any luck in getting it to install after downloading several times over three hours ago.
Issue completed.

Already checked that page before submitting my question. ABP used to work fine before latest Mozilla update on 9/6 or 9/7. Now it will not install from the download site.

Tried it before I ever sent the original note. I'm learning that most of the features that worked in previous versions of Firefox do not work in 47.0.1. The latest example is the password manager; worked before, but not now unless you start in safe mode, but then the bookmarks aren't there, etc. I'm ready to start looking at a new browser.
