Actually none of the browsers can connect to localhost. I do get the message: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost. I am using WAMPSERVER 3.0.4 Apache 2.4.18 PHP 5.6.19 MySQL 5.7.11 What is wrong? How do I fix it?

I think you would do better to seek support from whoever puts out that software. Maybe:

http://forum.wampserver.com/list.php

I have been to that site and got nothing

Nobody responded to your question there?

Could you try the technique in these articles (they are very similar) to check what port Apache is listening on:

Hello,

I ended up downloading CurrPorts to tell me what was using Port 80.

Why would httd.exe be using the port 2 times to listen?

Hi Chuckm97, questions about why WAMP does what it does or doesn't work are best directed to the forum I linked to earlier.

And how do I know that the problem might be Firefox and not WAMP

I guess you don't know for sure, but since you started from having none of your browsers connect, it seems like a server problem.
