When a website is previewed or printed some of the content visible on screen is omitted and NOT PRINTED - surely in 2016 everyone wants to print what they see !!

Chosen solution

Do you notice the same inclusions/omissions in print preview on all browsers?

If yes: Websites can control what appears on screen vs. print by applying different style rules.

In that case, one workaround is to capture an image of the full page. Such images can be very long; I generally use the Windows Paint program to print them, but it does take some tweaking.

Another workaround, for pages that do not contain confidential information or require being logged in, is to use a web-based service to return a PDF of the page to you. I've tested a couple in the past but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

If no: Sometimes Firefox cannot "paginate" web content properly for print due to certain screen-specific style rules. Is there a particular page where you have this problem in Firefox but not other browsers? You could provide a link to the page for advice on it.

Thank you very much for your prompt response - it set me thinking down a different track which provided the solution:- I have just installed W10 on and old HP desktop which was very painful and time consuming, but I did it!

I had not tried EDGE in anger but I wondered if it might provide the solution - and to my amazement - it did. It prints the full content of web pages as standard and only on one site did I need to adjust the Scale, Shrink to Fit to 75% and everything was perfect. Many thanks indeed.

You don't happen to know anything about W10 Phone do yo ? I have a Lumia 640 which has just been updated to W10 and it will not send email using the Outlook Mail app - I have tried everything to get my btinternet.com account to work with no avail - any thoughts would be very gratefully received - best wishes

I haven't used Windows Phone since it evolved from Windows Mobile years ago. I'm sure there are much better sites for WP questions.

Many thanks and best wises
