Something called trovi.com has taken over my firefox. How can I get rid of it?

Firefox has been great till just now firefox is only this trovi.com site and my tab with all my recent websites is gone. I looked in my apps and there is an unfamiliar one call bit Torrent that I tried to uninstall and it won't. Help!!!!

This can get installed by applications that bundles other stuff as extras if you are not careful during install. Cnet aka download .com has been known to bundle stuff with otherwise clean applications for example.
