URL of that website and that video is?
https://kissanime.to/Anime/Naruto-Shippuuden-Dub/Episode-348?id=127295 this is one of the videos I am trying to view. I get this play button but it will not play. This link works perfectly fine on my Surface with firefox. I only have issues with my desktop.... One odd thing i discovered is if i set my VLC WEB PLUGIN and my SHOCK WAVE PLUGIN to never activate and then reload the page.. and then reactivate those plugins the video will start... but once i refresh the page or continue onto another episode i get the same result in the picture
Never loads for me at all! Waited 3 minutes the first time I tried and only waited for 20 seconds on a fresh Profile. Refreshing the page won't work for me as that never appears as long as it is still loading.
Stuck on Waiting for redirector.googlevideo.com with that domain registering 8 times a second in uBlock Origin.
Sorry, I can't help you any further. You'll have to wait for another contributor to arrive here.
Thats odd?? I can watch anything on this website just fine on google chrome and Edge... and any other pc with firefox... just not my desktop that i just recently installed windows 10 on..
No problems here, the player starts immediately when the page has finished loading.
Does make a difference if you click "CLICK HERE" to open the video in a tab?
- If the player does not work, CLICK HERE to use your device's player/try to disable IPv6 or change server.
The direct link didn't work for me until I visited the site from the home page and clicked around, then the direct link worked.
If you check this page, do you have the first five boxes in blue (default for Firefox on Windows 10 with Media Foundation)?
No H.264 and MSE & H.264 are red
To cor-el yes the direct link works with VLC but I want to use HTML 5 I think Jscher2000 is on to my issue
If you have a version of Windows that doesn't bundle the Media Foundation, in order for Firefox to decode MP4 media, you'll need an additional download from Microsoft:
Download Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10 from Official Microsoft Download Center see updated link:
Assuming that is installed, Firefox should use Media Foundation, but support might have been disabled using a preference. You could check as follows:
Hi PipiPupi, have you ever made any settings changes related to "Windows Media Foundation" or "WMF"? Please check these preferences:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste wmf and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the media.wmf.enabled preference is bolded and "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
(4) In the search box above the list, type or paste mp4 and pause while the list is filtered
(5) If the media.mediasource.mp4.enabled preference is bolded and "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
(6) If the media.mp4.enabled preference is bolded and "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
If you changed anything, please test again. If not, hmm...
Modified
I downloaded that link and i am still in the red on the youtube site
Also I have Windows 10 PRO N
Hmm, I wonder whether it would help to exit Firefox and start it back up again to trigger recognition of the new software? Or restart Windows? I don't have hands-on experience with adding the Media Feature Pack.
Nope still same issue
See "Excluded features". Media feature pack for Windows 10 N and Windows 10 KN editions:
