I have noticed that Chrome has this microphone icon in the Google homepage. You can press is and type by voice. I do not see this in Firefox. I had already noticed this like over a year, even longer, ago. I was waiting for Firefox update to bring it in, but nothing. I am a Firefox user over 7 years, but this feature is badly needed. Why is it not in Firefox? It does get annoying to type longer searches over and over again. Thanks.

What you are seeing in Chrome is Google embedding one of its search tools in its own Google browser with its speech recognition technology.

Firefox is always under development with new features being added and planned. This may be something that is included in a future release.
