So I did.
p.s.: Why not just allow people to register in a common way, or let hem use one account for all of the services?

Mozilla came up with their own, called Persona almost 5 years ago. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Persona Probably will be disabled ~ November 30th, 2016. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Persona - Initial release was July 2011
I signed up for it as soon as I heard about it in 2011, but I don't recall ever coming across a website that used Persona. And I was very disappointed that Mozilla never set up any of their own websites to interface with Persona, until late in 2015 with the "new" new Add-ons support website "Discourse" - https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons - which iirc was the first to use Persona. IMO, little was done to promote Persona outside the Mozilla "eco-system" and it was never enabled for the dozen Mozilla domain sub-domains like this support forum. Little wonder it never became popular. Kinda like new car salesmen not getting a "demo" model as part of the job; how does it look to customer's when the people selling the product don't even use "their" product!
Now Mozilla has "changed horses" and is using FxA - Firefox Accounts - in lieu of a "global ID system" for Mozilla-related services and websites. Hopefully that will "stick" and not be dropped as Persona was. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-accounts Although it still isn't enabled for this Support Forum, but I have seen Discourse and Bugzilla start using Firefox Accounts.

Mozilla is divided into several independent sites.
Haven't Mozilla heard of OAuth, OpenID etc?

@the-edmeister Glad to hear. Thanks for info. Well, lack of proper Auth system was the reason of this thread to be created.
If you search the about:config page for oauth then you will notice that Firefox uses OAuth for some services like pocket and Hello (loop) and Sync.
@cor-el IIRC Pocket ain't part of Mozilla. Still can't understand why Support, Addons, Bugzilla are not using one.
Modified
It was possible to use your addons.mozilla.org account at forums.mozilla.org which was the a.m.o support site before being moved to https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons
This account sharing had issues then.

Add-ons was recently converted to use Firefox Accounts, along with Bugzilla - as I already mentioned. As far as this support forum goes it was re-written with a new content management system a year before Persona came about; this new system went live in July 2010 - they were able to transfer the user accounts over, but statistics were lost. I had 30,000 postings accrued in June 2010 and the 'count' started from zero; in the grand scheme of life that isn't a big deal, but an internal recognition of the thousand-Plus hours per year that I spent / spend supporting Firefox. There may be a compatibility issue between the current content management system and Persona / Firefox Accounts.
Bottom line, the registration process stinks, but once you are registered it shouldn't be a big deal as long as you keep track of your Username & Password.
