'When I start firefox, conhost.exe opens in task manager - processes. What is going on here? I don't recall seeing this before.

I just noticed that whenever I start firefox conhost.exe opens in task manager --> processes. This is behavior I do not recall seeing previously. Any idea what is going on here? Thank you.
