It has been a major concern, atleast for me. Whenever I open history I end up reading the whole history till I have found what I was looking for instead of just going through it depending on what time I opened that website.

I have attached images which shows the history in my browser.

Thanks for the help. I found the solution. In history, there is an option called 'View' at the top. It's set to 'sort by date' by default. I changed it to 'sort by last visited'. I request Mozillians to rename that option to 'Sort' because it goes unnoticed by many. and a suggestion that the history option can be made to look better.

The History Manager sorts via last site visited. If you were to go to a site you had been to before, that site now becomes the last visited.

Norwell History Tools {web link} Norwell reveals the history that is otherwise hidden from you in native firefox history viewer. Displays all browsing history chronological/sequentially as timeline. Advanced search, wildcards and filters. Chrome and Firefox history import tool.

Thanks for that information. But any idea why Firefox doesn't have it built in? All other browsers have it I guess.

Might be there is no call for that.
