How do I uninstall from Browser, when I no longer want a programme?

I have downloaded lastpass into my browser and I need to uninstall it but whilst the main programme lasspass is uninstalled from the main part of the computer, I am left with a install called Logmein.inc(us) which I can't uninstall no matter what I try and it is in the browser. If I don't remove it I can't create a new account when I reinstall lastpass which is what I have to do as I have lost my master password for my previous install. Your help would be most welcome, any idea's are worth a try. many thanks.

See this support article to learn how to remove / uninstall extensions. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons#w_how-to-remove-extensions-and-themes

LogMeIn is a different program from a different company. It allows a person on one computer to easily access a different computer.

The free LogMeIn was discontinued a while ago, so it's probably not something that got onto your computer accidentally. Perhaps you engaged in a tech support session where someone asked you to install it so they could take over your screen??

Thanks but I haven't been engaged with any tech support, and having only up graded to windows 10 in the last two weeks this has just appeared and I need it to be gone. My screen and computer has not been taken over by anyone for many many months and then it was microsoft so they could sort a problem out they had created. I still need to remove Logmein.inc(us) from my computer browser any know how I can do it Please let me know.

Hi treffor34, if an extension on the Add-ons page does not have a Remove button, usually there is a way to uninstall it through the Windows Control Panel. Can you find LogMeIn there?
