Every pin and open tab on firefox shows up on my windows task bar when I point to the Firefox icon. How can I stop this

When I point to the Firefox icon on my windows task bar, I don't want to see thumbnails of every pinned and open tab in Firefox. It is confusing when I have a lot of pins and open tabs and can't see any details. I just want to see the icon. How can I prevent this problem? The attached screenshot shows what I mean.

You can close it off by going through following steps :

Type about:config in url (in new tab) and click enter. Click on 'I'll be careful,i'll promise'. Now search browser.taskbar.previews.enable in the search box that you can see in the current page. Double click on "value" tab and it will set to false from true.

That's it, You can see the difference . Hope this helps .

Thank you for responding to my question. I couldn't use your suggestion because the links only led to archives, which I did not understand. However, I found an easier solution myself. Open the Menu (at the extreme right top of the screen). Select Options, and under the General tab, go to the box beside Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar (right down at the bottom of the list) and uncheck it.
