I searched the Internet, the solution to my problem seemed to be copying the key3.db and logins.json from the old profile to the new one. I even tried to delete everything from the newly installed Firefox and pasting everything from old profile. All the stuff like bookmarks, history, etc. are OK, except passwords.

Please help on this. Thanks.

Copying logins.json and key3.db to a new profile should work unless there is a problem with either of theses files or they aren't matching.

Did/do the files work in the profile where they originated from?

You can try start Firefox via a bat/cmd file that sets some environment variables to create a log file .

set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=negotiateauth:4
set NSPR_LOG_FILE=negotiateauth.log
start "" "<path to firefox>\firefox.exe"

Yes, the files worked on the previous Firefox. I had to reinstall Windows, backed up the data first. Does it matter that was Win 7, now I have Win 10 ?

I started the cmd, paste the command and another cmd window appear. What should I do next ?
