when i put numbers in a column i dont get a total at the end of column

I have a page where I enter numbers is a column and at the bottom it gives me the total in internet explorer but in firefox it does not total the numbers at end of column. How do I get firefox to compute the columns and give me a total ?

What sort of page is that?

Did you check the Web Console (3-bar Menu button or Tools > Web Developer) for error messages?
