When I go to a site I'm automatically redirected to yahoo. How do I get rid of this?

Recently yahoo has been coming up a lot in my browser without me actually doing anything. For example I went to cwtv.com and clicked on a video and then automatically after 5 seconds or so I'm redirected to a yahoo search result page with this in the field "media cwtv cwtv now general shows season prime".

This is the link I see in the address bar "https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?hspart=gt&hsimp=yhse-gt&q=media.cwtv.com%2Fcwtv%2FPrime%2FSeason%2F1213%2FShows%2FGeneral%2FCW_TVnow_Ext&type=769480"

I've tried to uninstall firefox and reinstall it and the same problem happens. I also even restored it to default, cleared cookies, deleted yahoo search from my preference and yet nothing seems to work. Now I have a mac and thought maybe I got a virus so I ran a test and nothing came up. So I'm completely lost.... Any help would be great. This problems seems to happen across all my browsers...

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove yahoo Anything. Now do the same in the computers Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
