I have 1 SSD 256GB and 1 TB HDD. Where should I put Firefox Profile for best performance and speed?
Hi I was wondering if leaving Firefox profile to C drive would be best, especially if you have an SSD drive like me. Can anybody confirm? Thanks Mandeep

IMO, it is best to leave the Profile where Firefox places it - the /AppData/Local folder.

May I ask you, how does a forum work? I don't understand how you were able to get my post, ? or how you even know?
Keep in mind that the disk cache is accessed very frequently and placing this cache on a SSD is not really recommended. The main Firefox profile folder is in AppData\Roaming and a second location in AppData\Local is used for other files like the disk cache, see the about:cache page.

New laptop came with C: drive a 128GB and D: 1T. I want to keep as much as possible off the C: drive - at present have Win10, Armored Warfare game and a few other things that Acer has put there.
Would like to use FF but don't understand your post - are not the places you site above on the C: drive?
Also, after switching to FF, what of Win10 can I delete to have more space on the SSD?
Tks for your time - jb
