How do I get my Nectar toolbar to show in Mozilla Firefox ?

Please can someone help me !! Since updating to the latest Firefox I lost my Nectar Toolbar and one or two others like the Topcashback notifier. I have tried all the usual ways of getting it to show but although it's in my programs list it refuses to appear. My other add ons remain unverified with no way to get them up and running again. Please can someone help me solve this, I am missing out on Nectar points and cash back in my Topcashback notifier so I would like a solution ASAP. I am a bit of a technophobe so clear step by step instructions will be much appreciated. Thanks

I found the solution. BUT it needs to be done when Firefox updates itself.

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste xpi and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the xpinstall.signatures.required preference to switch it from true to false
