I have the latest version of Firefox but with AOL as my default, I had the AOL toolbar earlier today now it is gone and cannot get it back

Earlier today when I turned on Firefox, my AOL toolbar was running, I then shut down my computer to get my son from school when I turned it back on the tool bar was gone. I have tried to install it from AOL over 15 times, I have updated Firefox and AOL also, I even tried to take my computer back to a previous restore point and nothing works. I like my toolbar as I have different places I like to visit there and clicking once much better then typing places all the time. I have tried everything I am smart enough to do have asked my wife and asked Google and still nothing working right. Please help me fix this

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

If there is still a problem; as a test, disable your protection programs.
