I checked and double-checked all of the account settings. The server codes were automatically set by Thunderbird installation. I've also been thru the Thunderbird options entries several times. But I still cannot send an email successfully. I should mention that I have a Gmail account. I'm enclosing a screen shop illustrating the problem. I can't think of anything else I can do. All other functions are A okay.

At least I can receive and read my email.

Thanks. Ken [kenwray1943@gmail.com]
