i have a 10.4 mac G5...yes it's old but has good stuff. can i update firefox to a less than new version?

For an unofficial Firefox 38 ESR compatible version that runs on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at TenFourFox.
