Hi

Herndon is a town in Virginia, near Washington DC, USA.

When you say it is showing up on your Firefox activity, where are you seeing it?

It shows up when I log in to Yahoo and select their recent activity page. It states as follows:

FIREFOX, MAC OS X Herndon, Virginia, United States 2 days ago

I have changed my password but it still re-appears. I am the New York and the Jersey City log-ons.

See attachment.

Hi

I would recommend you speak to Yahoo as soon as possible to report your concern. It looks like someone has accessed your account from a different location.

In respect of Firefox, I suggest you have a read of the following guidance. Normally (but not always), a malware issues is evident when you use a piece of software, so I think this is more of a service issue that Yahoo will be able to assist with, but I recommend a read just in case to make sure that everything is okay from a hardware perspective

I hope this helps, but if not please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Could that have been a WiFi Hotspot connection that you were using?

Some national retail companies route all their traffic thru a central location to connect to the internet 'backbone'. That part of Virginia is near some huge "trunk lines" that some large internet service providers use.
