Firefox crashes
I will be on FireFox for a nice bit of time and have multiple tabs open as I need them when I am working and everything will be fine when suddenly one tab will go black in the page space. The top bar showing the tabs will be fine. If I close the tab and it brings up another tab, it will at first look normal but then if I click anything, that tab as well will go black. SOMETIMES, if I move my courser around the screen things will popup as I scroll over them like images and links but the rest of the page is black. If I minimize FireFox, the rest of the computer is fine. I then have the hit X and close out the browser. If I then try to reopen FireFox, a message pops up saying I have to close FireFox before reopening. I click close and then I can reopen firefox from beginning (losing all my work) and then have to reopen all my tabs and it will work for a while but eventually it will stop again. I have been using firefox for years and love it but I can't keep losing my work and having to start over so I'm on the verge of moving on if I can't get help immediately. I tried uninstalling firefox and then reinstalling to make sure I have the most updated version. But when I reinstalled, all my info was still saved like search history and passwords, so it seemed like I didn't fully uninstall even though my computer said I did and I had to go through the whole process of reinstalling. PLEASE HELP!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
