eurosport player slow, poor picture quality

When i switched to internet exporer it worked fine, but it stutters continuously in firefox and the picture quality is terrible.

I know it uses Silverlight so does firefox have some issues playing silverlight?

I actually cannot test this since its not available in the US, however it asks if I want to use Flash player in the US.
