My Sync Fails to connect to the Server
I've read all the related support forums on this topic for within the past year and tried all of the tips, tricks and still get the message that Syc will not connect to the server. Here's my log: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/8835924
The only thing I can think is this is a work computer that the admins have locked down the security (i.e FIPS issue, firewall, etc), but my previous computer worked within the same company. So... I'm really hoping mozilla support can help.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Many employers place locks on their internet. Check with them.
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first use No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
FredMcD,
Unfortunately this solution didn't work either. I tried creating a new account and that works. For what ever reason pulling over my existing account yields the connect to server issue outlined above.
Hmm, they switched things around on the Sync system not that long ago. Might be you got caught in a glitch. If everything is okay now, please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
