Which add-ons to preview docx, pdf, ppt, etc. in Outlook.com for mac osx 10.9.5 since ActiveX/Active View isn't available in Firefox?

When I read Outlook.com email in Firefox, I can't preview any documents or pictures or photos or anything without downloading since ActiveX isn't supported in Firefox. I can't seem to find any add-ons that support previewing in Outlook.com; what I find takes you out of Outlook, which I can already do. Thanks.

Does clearing the cache and cookies make a difference?

I can click on a pdf attachment and have to options to Download, save to OneDrive or View Online. Each worked when I tested with Word Online.
