Sorry, Firefox needs to be running to be able to view the "bookmarks folder". Bookmarks are stored in the places.sqlite file in the Profile folder.

You can create a desktop shortcut to open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) as shown in the sidebar.

  • chrome://browser/content/bookmarks/bookmarksPanel.xul
