I disabled javascript using about:config but it didn't help. With javascript disabled, I couldn't even use gmail so I re-enabled it. The buttons on a lot of websites no longer work and I've had to resort to using IE. I'm using Windows 8.

@mikearthur: Did you try disabling some of your extensions? If you disable one half and the button starts working, then the problem may be in that half. If the button is still not working, disable the other half and see if the button starts working. By continuing this process, you may find the extension that is causing the problem if it is indeed a problem caused by an extension.

Salesforce report folder 'share' button stopped working.

I went into 'internet options', privacy tab, pop-up blocker settings and added my Salesforce domain as an allowed site.

Never had a problem with this before, been using that SF site for a year, don't know why the problem started and I had to add site as an allowed site.

Coincided with first time I used FF after 36.01 upgrade.
