I am getting error message "OVERQUOTA" but I'm only at 52% - any fix out there?

When trying to sent (Save to Sent), Compact, delete messages..I get this error message. Went on to Server to delete messages - deleted some...was at 60% now down to 52%. Is there a fix?

Quotas are set by your provider not Thunderbird. Ask them what their error message means. Sometimes it is that you have sent too many emails.
