I stopped using Firefox back in 2009 because of crashing issues, but decided to give it another try. I have added ad block plus, It has stopped working. I need to remove it, but I can't find anything about how to remove it. I can only find things about how to add it or disable it. I also would like to know why Firefox is so slow, when it used to be lightning fast.

I'm seriously thinking about not using Firefox anymore because its way so slow and very hard to work with, the developers have hidden most all the settings, that used to be right there at hand. There are a lot of webpages that do not display right. and flash makes Firefox even slower. Firefox also uses a lot of my CPU and memory. when i start Firefox my CPU jumps up to around 68% and stays there some times going higher. A browser shouldn't do this I have an AMD FX9590 8 core CUP running at 4.8 GHZ with a 5.0 Ghz boost. if i had a dual core or even a quad core Firefox would be maxing out the CPU.

I need to know how to remove Ad Block Plus from Firefox. Not disable it, but completely remove it from Firefox.

Thank You
