Firefox isn't autofilling saved passwords.
My logins and passwords have been saved but are not being loaded into their fields. This problem started about a week ago. The passwords went from loading normally, to a blank field but if I down arrowed the login name was present and after choosing it the password was loaded, then I had to enter the first letter of my user name before the login choice was available, then two letters, now it won't load at all.
I'm running Windows 8.1. The sites in question are sites I've used autofill with for years and haven't had a problem. I've tried researching the issue, and although I see that I'm not alone, the answers provided either weren't applicable or were beyond my computer knowledge.
I have deleted my cookies and cache.

Hi Qweendark, Please check to see if the passwords are stored in the Options > Security > Saved passwords.
Does this happen in Safe Mode? Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox
In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :
- In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
You can toggle the signon.overrideAutocomplete pref to true on the about:config page.
Some web sites send a signal to browsers that turn off the auto-fill. I have found that this does not stop auto-fill add-ons from working.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
You can also check the signon.autofillForms pref on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
