Flash 11.9 needed to be updated so I did and now have 16.0 but the 11.9 is still in my add ons and keeps turning itself on saying it needs an update and has been blocked. The 16.0 keeps turning off even though I am consistently turning it on and turning off the 11.9. I have no options to delete either plugin despite all the "help" provided in the online guides. I get a blank screen on Netflix, its hit and miss on Youtube (depending if 16.0 hasn't turned itself off yet) and I cannot watch half the videos posted on Facebook. This is extremely frustrating and yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled sliver with no change to the situation.

If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

In your Control Panel you can uninstall Flash. Install everything you see there, then download and install Flash 16 again.

Netflix doesn't use flash, it uses Silverlight. Try installing the latest version of Silverlight.

I did what you said and now flash 11 is no longer showing up. Hopefully things will work now. Youtube is running again but I had to uninstall firefox entirely and reinstall it for Sliver to work. It was a lot, but videos do seem to be working again. Thank you.
