That's it I just want to block a web address so it becomes unreachable

The thing is Mozilla is somehow connected to some malicious webpage. Every time I try to run it it hijacks my laptop. I tried to uninstall it then reinstall it.. problem still exists! Avast shows me also the web address where the attack was from, but I can't block it on mozilla since that feature is not supported.
If the problem persists I sadly inform you I will be forced to uninstall it and forget mozilla for good..
If you have malware on that PC you need to deal with getting rid of that malware, not put a "bandage" on the effects of that malware.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

NO! That part is done throughout Avast boot time scan system that finds everything. Thank you for the links tho it's always useful to have them.. Now once again: some malware website is somehow attached to my Mozilla. If I run another browser, no problem. But once I start Mozilla, malware sites attack my pc. And this happens with Mozilla only. The only two choices I'm left with are whether to block harmful web addresses or to uninstall mozilla and forget it. That's why I need a feature to block address on Mozilla.. and that would be the only thing to solve me problem
What is the exact address of the website that you want to block?
There are more of them as reported actually but this one is principal

Thanks, this one was helpful! Maybe you should do something to automatically detect and block such malware pages or dowmloads? Nevermind, this is just a proposition.. Thanks again
Users need to be more careful about what they download and/or install on their PC to avoid getting Malware like that. Or they need to run an active anti-Malware application to alert them something malicious is trying to install itself on their PC.
I believe you can modify your Windows "Hosts" file to block webpages: http://www.guidingtech.com/4868/edit-hosts-file-block-websites/
@SammyJoe thanks for the tip it is also very helpful, I also hope it will help anyone dealing the same problem
