can you try to disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general & see if this will make a difference (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect)?

I disabled that option and it seems to be working good now. But let me wait and check this for few more days and then will conclude if this is finally solved. Appreciate your quick reply and help. Thanks a lot.

Have you tried using a different screen? Also I noticed that your using Firefox version 33. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
