Where are my pdf print files going?
When printing to a PDF, the print dialog box indicates the action is being completed. However it doesn't prompt me for a storage location. Where is the file being stored? Any assistance much appreciated.

This is part of the Presto! PageManager product? I don't have any personal experience with that product, but usually a print-to-PDF solution works with all programs. Do you have a current version?
One thought: make sure not to check the "Print to file" box in the Print dialog, since the "printer" itself will create the file.
What Add-on did you install? Obviously if it isn't generating PDF files then it isn't going to solve your problem.
One extension that works well for me is "Print pages to PDF" which generates the PDF from what you see on screen, which allows it to keep working hyperlinks. Unfortunately, it sometimes crashes (I haven't figured out the circumstances). You can try it out from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/print-pages-to-pdf/
If you prefer printing and need an alternative printer driver, here are some free ones I've mentioned in past threads:
- PrimoPDF - http://www.primopdf.com/
- PDFCreator - http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator
- PDF24 Creator - http://en.pdf24.org/creator.html (I haven't tried this one)

Which PDF printer driver do you use, or do you use an add-on to generate PDFs?
1st I used driver: PageManagerPDFWriter. In all other applications it asks for a location to save the pdf file. In Firefox, the pop-up indicates the document is printing but it does not ask where to save the file. I found a post on this support site that said to install an add-in. Now the print goes to the download fold and is in HTML format. I prefer to use PDF writer, but need to know where I can locate the output pdf files.

Print-pages-to-pdf is the add-on I installed. It is prompting me for where to save now. Thanks for your help and patience.
Modified
You can review your installed extensions and manage them on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
On the right side, the enabled applications are listed in alphabetical order, with the disabled extensions on a second list below that.
Thanks again. I figured out how to see the add-ons and it was Print-Pages-To-PDF. Seems to be working okay now. It was the second time I attempted to install it that it began working, so perhaps i didn't complete my first install properly. (I did do a restart after each attempt.) This problem was driving me crazy and I had been using Hyper-Snap to get around the problem for some time. Glad I finally tried Mozilla support and that you solved the issue.
