How do I get Firefox to start Thunderbird, using Tbird biff?

I have used Biff for years, but now it won't start Tbird. I had omitted the address of Tbird in Ffox Biff client Options, but after I added it Tbird still did not start. What's wrong? What am I missing?

Yes, it's installed in both. However, I found my problem. I needed to check Firefox/Tools/Add-Ons/Thunderbird biff/Options/Check "Startup default email client" and enter path in "Path to your Thunderbird executable file". My problem really was that I thought I HAD checked that box and entered the correct path. Is there some combination of choices that could negate those choices?
