How can I display my contact list for selecting a recepiant when composing, replying or forwarding mail??

When I want to forward or reply to multiple contacts, I cannot see the contact list. I'm sure it's a simple problem to solve but I could use some advise on how to do it.. Thanks!

When you are in a Write window, press F9. F9 toggles the contact sidebar on and off.
