Went to setting--privacy--clear personal data. Checked browsing history and clicked on clear data. All browsing history still remains. Anything else I can try?

Hi, try to navigate to your phone settings/application manager/Mozilla Firefox. In the Firefox browser app options click on Clear data. This should delete the whole browsing history and cookies.

[editor: Windows is off topic for Firefox for Android]

Similar issue here; W8.1 (which I still hate), FM32.0. I think there was supposed to be a way to clear browsing history from Firefox Mozilla but thanks to W8.1 removing MENU icon...upper right corner next to Settings icon...(quote from Techie): "That was done in order to make it easier for you to use your computer, also to speed up performance." Supposedly faster performance does not help at all when Clear History instructions include words about "going to Menu icon" and that icon has been banished. Please advise if possible. TIA. Editting: Oh. I now see there is no "Click here to be notified if question is answered" button. Was there EVER such a thing? I do not know; here I am stuck between trying to clear comp's memory when my super-fallible human memory might forget to try to get back here and check for answers. If there once was a Click-button and W8.1..."NEW!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!" is the reason for not being able to clear history on shutdown, I hope I can remember to thank Microsoft for the latest in a string of annoyances. AND: This is off-topic quite a bit but I have the same issue at Internet Explorer ver 11. OMGoodness, I really hate W8.1.
