I accidentaly entered the wrong birth year and now can't set up sync, what can I do to correct this?

when I was setting up my sync account, I accidentally selected the wrong year and the system thinks I'm under 13. I am now locked out of having a sync account.

What can I do to correct the date or start over?

Did you try to close and restart Firefox?

If that doesn't help then try to reset the services.sync prefs that show user set (bold) on the about:config page via the right-click context menu to the default value.
