Hi. My Thunderbird stopped working yesterday. Hangs

It just hangs there, with the little blue wheel turning. Nothing works. When I try to close it, dialog box says "Program not responding". I close it anyway. That's it

I ended-up restoring my computer to an earlier date. It fixed hanging problems with both Firefox and Thunderbird (for now)
