Hello: I have a laptop and a desktop. I have Firegfox installed on both! I have more features on my desktop Firefox than I do my laptop! Does anyone know what my problem may be or has a fix?

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out here, may be your issue will be solved soon, but till now i am not getting you, because it depends on your customization and features you added. Try to figure out what feature you installed on laptop and what else on desktop.

Thanks!

First, are you referring to the actual "homepage" or "startup page"? Or are you talking about differences in the User Interface; the toolbar area at the top of the browser window?

Please provide a screenshot of each, and mark the differences with a circle, box, or arrow so that we know exactly what you are referring to .

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

What home page are you using?

You can check the home page setting:

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

See also this article about the New Tab page (about:newtab):

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure that nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.
