delete history
I am using windows 8. In HISTORY when I click on today + delete, nothing deletes. How do I delete a link?

Where are you viewing your history:
- Firefox History sidebar (Ctrl+h)
- Firefox Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+h)
In those two views, if you right-click any entry, you should see "Delete This Page".
If you want to delete more than one page, use the Library dialog, select the ones you want to delete (e.g., hold Ctrl while you click each one you want to add to the group), then right-click one of the selected items and use "Delete This Page".
Beware of "Forget about this site": that does an exhaustive search of all history for that site, all cookies, all bookmarks, everything stored for it, which can freeze Firefox up for a while and probably is more than you need.

I inadvertently clicked "Forget about this site": After a period of time delete this page worked. Thanks
