When I use IE 11 I can tell Google to open search in new tab. I want to know how to do this whit Firefox.

For the Google search bar on the Navigation Toolbar you can do this by setting the browser.search.openintab to true on the about:config page.

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and you can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
