how to hide all control panels

I just started using the HDMI port to link my laptop to my LED television the only problem is that it cannot have a picture on it that lasts more than 30 minutes or so or it will burn the image on the screen. My question is how do I hide everything on Mozilla including the bar where you enter the website information and the Google search bar and the five buttons to the right and also the X out and minimize buttons? I just want to get rid of everything until you slide the mouse pointer up to the top and the "search bar(s)" will come back down. I'm sure there's a way just like Windows has it on the bottom of the screen which I have the setting on and its functioning now. Please help as I'm lame to these topics and good day to you :)
