Since my last upgrade, Firefox will frequently not restart after closing a session unless I reboot my computer. How can I fix this?

hello, this is currently a bug when you have set firefox to clear your history during shutdown of firefox in the privacy options. this is going to be fixed in the next version of the browser - for now you can run the firefox 30 beta version which should no longer be affected by this issue: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/beta/

BTW, Firefox 30 with the "fix" is due to be released next Tuesday, the 10th of June.
