I downloaded the yahoo toolbar because that was the only way to keep them. Did that got the red flag pressed it and got a pop up sign in -pressed sigh in and keep getting the same pop up. I can't get any help for yahoo or Firefox about this, it is like they don't want to hear from us. I need my bookmarks and they are out there just can't get to them. please help ydelle

Chosen solution

I'm not very familiar with MacOS, unfortunately.

Instead of using Yahoo for your bookmarks, if you can get the toolbar working on any browser, you can copy your Yahoo bookmarks into your browser's bookmarks store. On the plus side, no need for the Yahoo toolbar. On the downside, your bookmarks are not synchronized to Yahoo to make them usable in different browsers.

Making the transfer involves exporting from the toolbar (for example, in Safari) to the HTML format, and then importing using your browser's HTML import feature.

In case it works without the toolbar, here's the URL for the export page (from the U.S. toolbar): https://us.data.toolbar.yahoo.com/v1/bm/tools?.intl=us

Can you sign in to Yahoo at all?

Hmm, your More System Details doesn't show your Yahoo toolbar extension being installed. Did you post from the computer where you installed it?

The toolbar on the Addons site might be out of date. Did you try installing directly from Yahoo using this page: https://toolbar.yahoo.com/

I have already fixed this by taking Firefox to default and with a little fixing got it to work--nothing is ever easy with computers and programs fighting ec=ach other.
