Looking to enable my fingerprint reader on my HP laptop. This is confirmed working correctly both in normal applications and when using IE. I'm trying to switch over and this is one of the last items I'm fighting with.

Is there a plugin required? Is this just being blocked by FF?

When I get to a website that requires a log in that I have set up, I see the HP app symbol in the corner of the screen correctly, however, swiping my finger doesn't fill in the information. The system then treats my swipe like a new website.

I've confirmed many website addresses to be correct, and it seems they're being acknowledged, but nothing happens.

Before someone recommends just using a master password, this isn't allowed by our IT department.

Thanks,

hello MonkeyTime, unfortunately we can't provide support for third-party products that hook into the browser - you'll likely get a better reply and more detailed guidance when you contact hp's support. they are also the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in the fingerprint addon. thank you...
