I have seen a number of folk with this issue recently. Most used a VPN. Do you?
Hello there
These legacy provider names can still be used, but there are a few caveats to keep in mind. For instance, the VPN may not always provide the required stability.
Also, pay close attention to the authentication settings: ensure that "My outgoing server requires authentication" is enabled. If this option is disabled, your emails may be blocked.
Additionally, the full username is required for proper functionality.Avoid using unencrypted ports, such as port 110 and port 25. Because these are unencrypted, modern networks or strict VPN software will block them.

As it turns out Spectrum was or is experiencing an issue with their Roadrunner Outgoing Server. I logged into my Roadrunner account and had the same problem. Unfortunately, Spectrum has not alerted it customers to this issue.
Since, officially, Spectrum does not support Roadrunner anymore I have switch to a new 'spectrum.net' email account which is working cleanly.
Hello there
Indeed, it is still being used by third parties who execute various tasks flawlessly, yes.
This just concerns email or banking matters; sending a series of Star Trek photos with it is no problem at all for exchanging your daily email files.
A certain group of people still continues to use this with pleasure. This concerns the somewhat older generation, yes. Most people prefer to get one of those new Spectrum accounts to be more up to date. It is a good choice to have done so,
Live long and prosper .
