Unable to send messages

I'm a long time user and supporter. All of a sudden I can no longer send messages. After completing the message and entering info, there is no "SEND" in the upper left of the screen so the message can not be sent??????? Could use some help............................... - click 'new message' button - if menu bar not visible, press alt key - click view>toolbars>composition toolbar
